Ambassador Labs, the leader in cloud-native developer experience, announced several technological partnerships and tools to help teams and companies around the world embrace Kubernetes faster. Ambassador Labs has joined the steering committee of the new Envoy Gateway project, which will enhance Envoy's capabilities to include basic API gateway "out of the box" capabilities for cloud-native development and delivery.
Ambassador Labs, as a launch partner for Docker's Extension marketplace, now offers an integrated experience for Docker Desktop and Telepresence, allowing for faster local-to-remote feedback loops and increased developer productivity in Kubernetes setups. Finally, Ambassador Cloud's latest Team Edition release is based on the open-source Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) projects Emissary-ingress, Telepresence, and Argo, adding new capabilities and pricing tailored to distributed cloud-native development teams. The latest Ambassador Cloud, free to get started, scales to accommodate projects and organizations of all sizes, from development to production.
"We long ago saw the promise of Envoy as a production-tested proxy that supports a cloud native world, having built Emissary-ingress, a CNCF Incubating project, on Envoy. We couldn't be more excited to be part of the new Envoy Gateway project to simplify Envoy usage and accelerate cloud native app development by teams around the world,"
Richard LI, co-founder and CEO at Ambassador Labs.
The new Ambassador Cloud Team Edition contains pricing and features that make it easier for development teams to accelerate Kubernetes adoption while coding, testing, shipping, and running cloud-native applications. Additional teams and projects can be added quickly and are free to start, making it simple for extended teams to collaborate on Kubernetes projects from development to production.
Ambassador Labs also announced a new developer education program to assist teams in implementing Kubernetes using tried-and-true architectural patterns and open source tools. This free session, entitled 'The Golden Path Pizza Party,' is available to enterprises worldwide and is designed to solve specific technical difficulties that cloud-native teams encounter as they chart their "Golden Path."
