Next Pathway Accelerates Momentum with Improved Cloud Migration Capacities and Global Strategic Partnerships

Next Pathway | July 16, 2021

The Automated Cloud Migration company, Next Pathway Inc. announced robust momentum during the past year, driven by the rapid adoption of cloud computing. As a result, organizations migrate legacy applications to the cloud to leverage their present resources while bringing new competencies to the market. To meet the surging need, Next Pathway has made significant augmentations to its product line and expanded its strategic global partnerships.

Addressing the demand to migrate to the cloud, Next Pathway has made strategic partnerships with additional Global System Integrators (GSIs) to deliver a complete migration service. Additionally, it has licensed SHIFT™, the automated migration tool, to principal technology organizations such as Informatica.
As a result, within the first six months of 2021, Next Pathway has translated millions of lines of code and thousands of ETL (extract, transform, load) pipelines.

There is a constant technological innovation behind all these operational developments of  its cloud migration products: Crawler360™, the SHIFT™ Migration Suite, and SHIFT™ Tester. Improved capabilities of these products include:

Crawler360™: It is the planning tool, which has enriched UI to make it easier to view the data relationships, dependencies, and lineage across applications. Customers can now choose the workloads that are best suited to migrate to the cloud and identify redundant workloads that can be retired or remain on-prem.

ETL Migrations to Snowflake: Next Pathway has expanded the capacities of SHIFT™ to automatically migrate and run legacy ETLs natively in Snowflake using Snowpark. Now, SHIFT™ can migrate all legacy ETLs to any cloud-native language.

SHIFT™ Tester: This latest version of SHIFT™ Tester has been re-modeled with enhanced data validation and test automation capacities. SHIFT™ Tester can now test data quality and ETLs, beyond verifying the translation of code.

Next Pathway has tactically solved the biggest challenges that organizations face when moving to the cloud. Next Pathway removes many pain points related to cloud migration by automating all the vital stages in cloud migration, starting from planning to code translation to testing. As a result, its technology enables organizations to reduce the risk and time to move their workloads to the cloud. It also helps to accelerate the entire cloud migration journey.

The CEO of Next Pathway, Chetan Mathur, said, "Throughout the last year, we have seen considerable interest in companies looking forward to being more data-driven to meet customer expectations and sustain a competitive edge. The shift to the cloud is observed as a strategic move to deliver business value. While migrating to the cloud isn't easy, the result can be highly efficient when done correctly."
"With the SHIFT™ self-service offering, Next Pathway is providing a solution that quickens the migration process, enabling the organizations to realize value from their data quickly," said Rob Enderle, Principal Analyst at the Enderle Group.

"We have taken an intentional and strategic approach to enhance our technology and strengthen our partnerships for our global customers," added Mathur. "The vast experience has influenced our roadmap in migrating our workloads to the cloud. We will continue to leverage our expertise, as well as the passion for innovation, as we help the global customers accelerate their cloud migrations and realize the benefits."

Alkira Unveils Fastest Cloud Access through Cloud Area Networking

Alkira | June 22, 2022

Alkira introduced Cloud Area Networking, a cutting-edge network that quickly connects networking teams to the cloud. A complete stack, edge-to-cloud enterprise-grade network with integrated routing and network services makes up the ground-breaking, first-of-its-kind solution. It is the only network entirely developed in the cloud and provided as a service, requiring neither the purchase of hardware nor the setup of agents. Slow cloud installations are a problem for even the most savvy businesses. The inefficiency results from juggling many networking silos with various tools and capabilities. The key to success is unification, which requires complex manual settings and specialist cloud expertise. Warner Music Group, Koch Industries, Tekion, and other companies have already benefited from solutions from Alkira Cloud Area Networking. Network engineers and architects can now set up unified global networks and cloud on-ramps using only a browser and a mouse. Work that once took months to perform is now completed in hours. The whole development, management, and use of the network is automated using Alkira Cloud Area Networking. No hardware or software has to be installed. Cloud Area of Alkira Cloud and multi-cloud deployments are significantly accelerated by networking. By combining all users, sites, clouds, and vendors into a single network, it achieves this. Total end-to-end visibility, compliance, security, and more are the outcomes. With one-off, unmaintainable network deployments, organizations may cease adding to their technological debt. Alkira Cloud Area Networking is designed to be repeatable in the future. Blueprinted. Automated. For optimum operational agility, it seamlessly connects with the CI/CD pipeline. Delivering a single policy posture across the whole on-premises and cloud network is made simpler as a result. “Organizations looking to transform their networks are often surprised by the vast magnitude and intricacies of the undertaking. The complexity of existing networking and security architecture, lack of uniform policies across on-prem and public cloud, and limited network visibility all combine to create lengthy, error-prone implementations that are difficult to monitor. Cloud Area Networking technologies that automate all that tedious plumbing can be a compelling solution for organizations that want to quickly embrace the speed and agility of the cloud,” said Shamus McGillicuddy, Vice President of Research, Network Management, at Enterprise Management Associates (EMA). “Until now, enterprises had a choice between shoe-horning last-generation technology into the cloud or using orchestration tools to hide the complexity. Enterprises are reaching the limit on how much they can patch their increasingly fragmented network. The Alkira way, the Cloud Area Networking way, is a single, enterprise-grade network infrastructure built for the cloud but grounded in reality,” Amir Khan, Chief Executive Officer of Alkira
