Next Pathway SHIFT Cloud Now Available on Microsoft's Azure Marketplace

On February 14, 2023, Next Pathway Inc., a pioneer in automated cloud migration, announced that SHIFT Cloud is now available as a software as a service (SaaS) offering on the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. The Azure Marketplace provides users with access to the most innovative solutions that enable them to utilize the advantages of the Azure cloud platform fully. Next Pathway expands the reach of its automatic code translation product by joining the Azure Marketplace.

SHIFT Cloud places the power of automatic code translation directly in the hands of the consumer. Azure users now have self-service access to a powerful and performant code translation engine that enables them to translate ETL pipelines and legacy SQL code to Microsoft Azure.

Code translation has never been easier and more accessible while retaining a high-performance level, coverage, and quality.

Azure clients may easily migrate their legacy apps using SHIFT Cloud. SHIFT Cloud removes the uncertainties and frustrations from cloud migration by offering Azure clients a dependable and simplified end-to-end approach for translating complicated legacy workloads to the Azure cloud platform.

Furthermore, every dollar spent on SHIFT Cloud counts towards a customer's cloud usage commitment. This is becoming extremely important as the unpredictable economy influences an enterprise's decision to transfer workloads to the cloud.

The Azure Marketplace enables Next Pathway to provide the exact product that clients want at the precise time that they require it. This partnership not only provides Azure clients with powerful automatic code solutions but also boosts Next Pathway's brand visibility within the Azure Marketplace.

It also forwards Microsoft's dedication as a partner-focused organization.

This new development follows the public announcement last August of Microsoft and Next Pathway's collaboration to speed the migration from legacy data lakes and data warehouses to Microsoft Azure. Next Pathway is already seeing a significant increase in the adoption of SHIFT Cloud from Microsoft Azure customers.

Continuity Centers Announces Cloud Instant Business Recovery, Built on Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage

Globenewswire | May 23, 2023

Backblaze, Inc. (Nasdaq: BLZE), the leading specialized storage cloud platform, recently shared news of a new disaster recovery service built on the B2 Cloud Storage: Continuity Centers’ Cloud Instant Business Recovery (Cloud IBR) which instantly recovers Veeam backups from from the Backblaze B2 Storage Cloud. Instant Business Recovery follows Backblaze’s Instant Recovery in Any Cloud, launched in May 2022. Building on the original Infrastructure as Code (IaC) package, Cloud IBR is the second generation solution that further simplifies disaster recovery plans. The easy to use interface and affordability make Cloud IBR an ideal disaster recovery solution designed for small and medium size businesses (SMBs) who are typically priced out of effective disaster recovery solutions. Additionally, Continuity Centers combines the automation-driven Veeam REST API calls with phoenixNAP Bare Metal Cloud platform into a unified system, to completely streamline the user experience. The fully-automated service deploys a recovery process through a simple web UI, and in the background, uses phoenixNAP’s Bare Metal Cloud servers to import Veeam backups stored in Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage, and fully restores the customer’s server infrastructure. The solution hides the complexity of dealing with automation scripts and APIs and offers a simple interface to stand up an entire cloud infrastructure when you need it, paying only for the duration you need it for. “Cloud IBR gives small and mid-market companies the highest level of business continuity available, against disasters of all types. It’s a simple and accessible solution for SMBs to embrace,” said Gregory Tellone, CEO of Continuity Centers. “We developed this solution with affordability and availability in mind, so that businesses of all sizes can benefit from our decades of disaster recovery experience, which is often financially out of reach for the SMB.” Previously, mid-market businesses were underserved by disaster recovery and business continuity planning because the requirements and efforts are often foregone due to more immediate business demands. Additionally, many disaster recovery solutions are designed for larger size companies and do not meet the specific needs for SMBs. Cloud IBR allows businesses of all sizes to instantly stand up their entire server infrastructure in the cloud, at a moment's notice with a single click, making it easy to plan for and easy to execute. Additionally, the Cloud IBR Silver Package will be offered at no cost for one year to any Veeam customers that purchase Backblaze's B2 Reserve. Those customers can activate Cloud IBR within 30 days of purchasing Backblaze’s B2 Reserve service. “Launching Cloud IBR is taking our technology a step further in making disaster recovery from ransomware more accessible to small and mid-size businesses at a time when it’s needed more than ever,” said Nilay Patel, Co-Founder and Vice President of Sales at Backblaze. “We are excited to work with a disaster recovery specialist like Continuity Centers to bring a simple and affordable disaster recovery solution to businesses who need it the most.” Backblaze provides developers, businesses, and consumers with cloud services to store and use their data in an easy and affordable manner, serving as a foundation for customers to back up and archive data, host content, manage media, build applications, and more. Rootstock Software Extinguishes Inefficiency for Premier Fire Protection Equipment Manufacturer with New Cloud ERP Solution

Businesswire | April 19, 2023

Rootstock Software today announced that Engineered Corrosion Solutions (ECS), a premier fire protection equipment manufacturer, has selected Rootstock Cloud ERP built on the Salesforce Platform to support the company’s next stage of growth and success. ECS will be leveraging Rootstock to manage its financials, inventory, and production, and to provide mobile capabilities on its shop floor. “We’re thrilled to work with a company of ECS’ caliber,” said David Stephans, Chief Executive Officer at Rootstock Software. “As an award-winning manufacturer of corrosion control solutions for fire protection systems, the company has experienced tremendous growth over the past five years. Our Manufacturing Cloud ERP will provide ECS with the capabilities it needs for ongoing expansion, efficient operations, and delivering the high level of customer service that it is known for.” "Increased demand is a key reason we went looking for a new ERP solution,” said Adam Hilton, Chief Executive Officer at ECS. “With year-over-year expansion, we had outgrown our existing system and needed a next-gen ERP for tighter inventory tracking, integrated financial management, workflow automation, mobile capabilities, and complete material requirements planning (MRP). A few years ago, we implemented Salesforce and honed its CRM capabilities to our needs. In Rootstock, we saw the advantage of leveraging a solution built on this same platform, with which we are already familiar.” Hilton and his team also recognized the value of Rootstock being purpose-built for manufacturing. “Other solution providers accused it of being a niche solution, but to us, a manufacturing ERP was exactly what we needed. Other vendors would have forced us through their sales and implementation funnel, like a square peg through a round hole. Rootstock showed us how its ERP could be configured to our unique business. As a result, members of our taskforce unanimously decided Rootstock was the solution for us,” said Hilton. ECS expects to go live with Rootstock by the end of summer. Increased automation and efficiencies will enable it to focus on customer service and on creating better solutions for its client base. “We won’t need to spend as much time and energy on the mechanics of managing operations. Instead, Rootstock ERP will handle it for us, and our team will be freed up to focus on more strategic initiatives. We’re digging into the implementation now, and we’re seeing the depth of functionality that exists. We’re starting out with the tip of the iceberg, but we know there will be even more to explore and leverage after our go-live date,” concluded Hilton. About Rootstock At Rootstock Software, our connected Manufacturing Cloud ERP enables hundreds of manufacturers, distributors, and supply chain organizations to turbocharge their operations in a dynamic, post-pandemic world. With our solution natively built on the Salesforce Platform, our customers leverage the industry’s leading Cloud ERP, Rootstock, to connect with their suppliers, trading partners, and the broader ecosystem. Ranked as a leader in the ERP Value Matrix by industry analysts, Rootstock has vertical expertise in discrete manufacturing, medical devices and high-tech verticals.
