ORLEN, the Alfa Romeo F1 Team, picks Zadara as its official cloud supplier

Zadara | March 03, 2022

Zadara, the global pioneer in edge cloud services, and Sauber Motorsport, which manages and operates the Alfa Romeo F1 team ORLEN participation in the Formula One, have renewed their partnership for a second season. As a result, Zadara will be serving as the Official Cloud supplier for ORLEN. With best-in-class cloud services offering simultaneous access to real-time, data-driven insights in the driver’s seat, the paddock, and the team’s factory in Hinwil, Switzerland, Zadara’s edge cloud technology enables Team ORLEN to maximize its performance on the track.

A race team must deal with various data types, ranging from trackside data to design and business systems, all of which must be accessible from numerous places. As the season progresses, lightning-fast access to this data and long-term data protection is essential. Zadara provides low latency, high-speed access to critical systems, allowing for real-time analysis and competitive advantage. Furthermore, Zadara edge cloud technology allows for dynamic scaling, allowing the Sauber Motorsport team to use resources only when they are needed.

Zadara’s cloud services dramatically streamline our cloud infrastructure, while enhancing performance, improving latency and putting real-time race data at our fingertips. This ability is extremely important in a sport where the difference between winning and losing can come down to just a millisecond. We depend on our cloud technology partnership with Zadara to deliver performance on and off the track by ensuring access to the right data – right when we need it,”

Jan Monchaux, technical director for Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN

On February 27, the new Zadara sponsored Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN car, the C42, was unveiled, along with team drivers Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu. This season. Zadara brings new technologies as the first cloud vendor to support the ultra-fast ISER interface with VMware computing.

“We are ecstatic to continue our support of the Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN as they enter a new era. Success in F1 requires a solid infrastructure, innovative car design, great drivers and high-performance levels across all three of these elements. By delivering cloud capabilities at the edge, Zadara is driving performance improvements through technology,” said Nelson Nahum, CEO, and co-founder at Zadara.

Cado Security Offers Organizations a Free Cloud Digital Forensics Investigation

Cado Security | August 27, 2021

Cado Security, provider of the first and only cloud-native digital forensics platform, unveiled a new offering that provides enterprises a free cloud security investigation powered by the Cado Response platform. Cado is committed to modernizing the way security professionals perform cloud investigations. Organizations will now have the opportunity to experience the full unlimited version of the Cado Response platform, including container and memory forensics, for 14-days. Cado Response is the only digital forensics platform that combines the power of cloud processing and automation to take the complexity out of cloud investigations. Very often, it takes security teams weeks to manually obtain and process the data that is required for a forensics investigation, all whilst the hacker has free rein to inflict damage. Worse, due to the amount of time and effort it takes to conduct a detailed investigation, incidents often get closed without digging deep enough. For fourteen days, organizations can take full advantage of the Cado Response platform, which flips the script on digital forensics. The platform automates data capture and processing across cloud and container environments to enable security professionals to identify root cause and respond to breaches 5x faster. “Cado Security was born from the frustrations my co-founder Chris Doman and I experienced as incident responders,” says James Campbell, Co-founder and CEO of Cado Security. “Other platforms were too slow to keep up with modern cloud environments and unnecessarily complicated. Providing enterprises the opportunity to use the full version of the Cado Response platform for a free investigation furthers our mission to offer tools and resources to ensure everyone can efficiently investigate cloud breaches.” The Cado Security free investigation offer is available through a 14-day trial of the Cado Response platform supported in AWS and Azure. For enterprises interested in conducting a free cloud investigation. About Cado Security Cado Security provides the first and only cloud-native digital forensics platform for enterprises. Lucid, Lucidscale | October 29, 2021

Lucid the leading provider of visual collaboration software, today announced the addition of a third product built on its Visual Collaboration Platform with the release of Lucidscale, a cloud visualization solution where organizations can see, understand and optimize their cloud environment. Lucidscale automatically generates accurate, dynamic cloud visualizations, significantly reducing the time and resources traditionally needed for cloud documentation and understanding. These automated diagrams allow teams to more quickly and effectively design, build, deploy and troubleshoot cloud environments for Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Lucidscale enables users to document plans, verify implementation and communicate crucial information clearly across both technical and non-technical teams, helping organizations to stay on top of compliance, security and internal best practices, and to maintain consistency across the business. "Now more than ever, businesses need clear visibility into their complex and ever-changing cloud environments in order to adapt quickly, plan and scale. Teams also require new levels of technical alignment and understanding across a variety of stakeholders Lucidscale enables both technical and non-technical users to make better cloud decisions and understand and optimize their cloud environments. We're thrilled to bring this critical solution to our Visual Collaboration Suite as we continue to help teams of all kinds see and build the future. said Karl Sun, co-founder and CEO at Lucid With Lucidscale, teams are able to more effectively AUTOMATE: Easily automate and reference cloud documentation for sharing internally and externally with third parties. Automatically generated diagrams reduce the time, costs and inaccuracies that occur when similar diagrams are attempted by hand. Cloud visualization in Lucidscale happens as fast as the cloud changes. UNDERSTAND: Visualize the hundreds and thousands of components that make up a cloud environment. Lucidscale helps organizations understand the current state of their cloud architecture, so that they can more effectively create future state plans. Having a clear picture helps teams understand how an outage occurred, look for areas to optimize, explain cloud infrastructure to non-technical users, eliminate unnecessary risk and prevent potential costs to the organization. VERIFY: Verify that cloud migrations and implementations are done correctly. Cloud implementation mistakes can be costly, from downtime to missed deadlines, and can harm compliance efforts. With accurate cloud visuals, teams can more easily verify alignment between what was planned and what actually exists in the cloud environment. Lucidscale is built on Lucid's Visual Collaboration Platform, bringing ten years of proven data and security capabilities to the cloud visualization space. As part of the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite, Lucidscale joins Lucidchart, an intelligent diagramming application, and Lucidspark, a virtual whiteboard application, in enabling teams to collaborate and communicate clearly about the most complex topics, no matter where teams are located.
