Scale Computing and IBM Teams up to Deliver Edge Solutions for Enterprise Clients

Scale Computing declared its partnership with the popular IBM (NYSE: IBM). Scale Computing is a leading organization in edge computing, virtualization, and hyper-converged solutions. This association will help organizations adopt an edge computing strategy designed to empower the seamless movement of data and applications from private data centers to hybrid cloud environments. The latest IBM Institute for Business Value report, “Why organizations are speculating on edge computing: Insights from the edge,” discovered that 91% of the 1,500 executives surveyed indicated that their companies intend edge computing strategy implementation within five years. IBM Edge Application Manager, a self-governing management solution that runs on Red Hat OpenShift, enables the continuous operations, fast deployment, and remote management of AI, analytics, and IoT enterprise workloads to produce real-time analysis and insights at scale.

Oracle Opens a Cloud Region in Mexico as the First Hyperscaler

As the first significant cloud provider to set up a specific cloud area in Mexico, Oracle announced the launch of the first Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) region in that nation. As a result, customers, partners, and developers of Oracle with offices in Mexico will have access to a variety of cloud services with built-in security, disaster recovery, and industry-leading price performance, thanks to the new region in the state of Querétaro.
