The Slackbot extracted text and identified celebrity faces and famous landmarks from photos uploaded to Slack channels. Srini used Amazon Step Functions to orchestrate the services deployed across cloud providers, Slack Web and Event API to communicate with Slack, Google Vision to detect landmarks and text, and AWS Rekognition to identify celebrities.
