The global big data and business analytics market is expected to grow to US $274 billion in 2022 – marking a massive investment in the storage, use, sharing, and manipulation, and management of corporate data. Up to 90% of the world’s data was generated in just the last two years. Every two years, the volume of this data will double in size globally. Every two years, the volume of this data will double in size globally. For data management professionals, the challenge is to maximise the use of data that is growing at a massive rate. This growth is marked by digital storage, the internet of things, mobile devices, cloud platforms, or data residing at the edge of network infrastructure. Akolade’s 2nd Annual Australian Data Summit 2021 is curated for data management professionals seeking practical, innovative, and cost-effective solutions to unlock the power of corporate data. The agenda showcases leading case studies that spotlight data management solutions, while enabling a business to maintain its competitive edge, engage with customers, and forecast trends to stay ahead of the curve.

Spotlight

Industry discussions of server virtualization, SDN, and cloud computing abound, for one simple reason: agility. Every year, CIOs are asked to support more—often much more, in terms of data and traffic—with less, and more quickly. In addition, a number of regulations have arisen in the last decade, forcing a stronger focus on data security and control. These business realities, along with improvements in WAN/LAN performance, have contributed to a retrenchment of IT operations and investments back into the data center. Brocade® VCS® Fabric technology is designed to meet these challenges by enabling next-generation virtual data center and private cloud computing initiatives. VCS fabrics, delivered on Brocade VDX® switches, were designed specifically to meet the needs of cloud environments and scale-out data center architectures being driven by an explosion of information

European Cloud Summit

November 29-December 1, 2021 | Germany

The mission of the European Cloud Summit is to become the major European technology conference focused on Microsoft Azure and current cloud topics such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Internet of Things and Industry 4.0, and business and technology aspects alike. The European Cloud Summit will focus primarily on Microsoft Azure, with a certain amount of the sessions dedicated to Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud platforms, as well as to other cloud vendors and multicloud and hybrid solutions. Europe needs a dedicated premium Microsoft Azure and cloud technologies conference. Azure and cloud topics are often included as a track in generic technology conferences, or considered as an addition to existing conferences, but they never seem to be the primary focus. There is no major premium event in Europe dedicated exclusively to Microsoft Azure. The European Cloud Summit is here to fill this gap and provide exclusive focus on Microsoft Azure and other cloud computing topics.

European Collaboration Summit

November 29-December 1, 2021 | Germany

Due to COVID-19 we were unable to hold the European Collaboration Summit in June, as we had planned. We will now hold both the European Collaboration Summit (collaboration and Microsoft 365 focused conference) and the European Cloud Summit (cloud technologies, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud focused conference) on the same dates: 29 November to 1 December 2021, and at the same venue: CCD Düsseldorf (Düsseldorf Fair). What does this mean for you? One ticket, for either the CollabSummit or CloudSummit, will give you access to the sessions of both conferences! Over 150 sessions and 15 one-day tutorials are waiting for you in Düsseldorf, Germany, in the late autumn.
