Cloud Direct scores £1.5m to bolster cloud service brokerage
UK-based cloud brokerage firm Cloud Direct has secured £1.5m equity investment this week, which will go towards strategic acquisitions and bolstering the firm’s reach.Cloud Direct, which was founded in 2002 and offers cloud brokerage and cloud enablement IT services, said the new investment brings its total secured investment this year to £2.74m.In June the firm secured a £1m cash injection to speed up development of a proprietary cloud service automation platform, for which it plans to hire over 40 new people.
