Infoblox Announced NIOS 8.6.1 with Enhanced Features for the Hybrid Workplace

Infoblox Inc., the pioneer in cloud-first DNS management and security, declares Network Identity Operating System (NIOS) 8.6.1 with more features for tailoring the hybrid workplace with cloud incorporations for Azure Stack support, Red Hat OpenShift, Ansible, and VMware vRealize Orchestrator.

As remote work drives organizations more into hybrid and multi-cloud environments, NIOS 8.6.1 by Inflobox will allow network administrators to leverage cloud integrations to improve visibility and security for hybrid platforms.

NIOS 8.6.1 expands the multi-cloud impressions for Azure Stack and Red Hat OpenShift, integrations for DevOps, in addition to theorchestration tools like Ansible and VMware vRealize Orchestrator 8.0. These inclusions augment users' capability to embrace automation, flexibility, and scalability in their cloud and virtualization environments. Further, it improves DDI visibility and control by establishing granular global server load balancing (GSLB) rules in the DNS Traffic Controller. NIOS 8.6.1 increases network insight by discovering Lightweight Access Points (LWAP) through the WLAN controller. In addition, it allows better reachability into the crucial data and simplifies control over grid wide NTP synchronization. 8.6.1 also enhances authentication with the help of additional DNSSEC zone signing algorithms. to improve security, processing speed, and performance with shorter encryption keys and protect data from unauthorized modifications.
