Marconi University saves 23 per cent moving from colo to cloud
Marconi Univeristy, Italy’s first Open University, has moved its online campus e-Learning platform from a colocation-based solution to a virtual private cloud, saving the University 23 per cent on its total infrastructure bill.The University was the first in Italy to offer Open University courses and it now serves 14,000 graduate and post-graduate students globally, integrating traditional classroom-based learning and virtual learning environments.
