Netflix is upgrading its cloud architecture for scale
In a bid to cope with rising demand for the cloud-based TV and film streaming service Netflix said that it is in the process of completely rethinking its architecture.The company said rising demand for its service, which is deployed on Amazon Web Services’ architecture from multiple locations (initially just in the US) has prompted an effort to simplify its architecture so that it can scale more rapidly and reduce outages.
