Philips and Salesforce partner on healthcare cloud services

Salesforce and medical technology provider Philips announced a partnership that will see the two companies combine their respective technologies to develop a patient management platform based on Salesforce’s cloud-based CRM service.The companies said the platform, which will enable medical device and data interoperability, will allow caregivers across healthcare organisations to collaborate more closely with each other and with patients, enhance clinical decision-making, and enable patients to take a more active role in managing their personal health.
