Pulsant expands South Gyle cloud datacentre

Cloud, managed hosting and colocation provider Pulsant has announced the expansion of its South Gyle Tier III modular datacentre. Matt Lovell, chief technology officer at Pulsant said the move is a sign of growing demand for cloud services in Scotland.The company, which claims to be Scotland’s largest datacentre provider, has constructed two data halls, each containing 64 racks, and secure storage areas. It has also implemented two factor authentication for secure access, which can be configured to customer specification.
