Red Hat and Nutanix Declares Strategic Partnership to Offer Open Hybrid Multicloud Solutions

Red Hat and Nutanix today announced a strategic collaboration to enable a strong solution for structuring, scaling and managing cloud-native applications on-premises and in hybrid environments. The partnership gets along the leading technologies, enabling installation, interoperability and management of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Red Hat OpenShift with Nutanix Cloud Platform.

  • The preferred choice for enterprise full stack Kubernetes on Nutanix Cloud Platform will be Red Hat OpenShift. Customers, who are willing to run Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Red Hat OpenShift on hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) will be able to use a top cloud platform from Nutanix.
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Red Hat OpenShift has got Nutanix Cloud Platform as a preferred choice for HCI. The customers will be able to deploy virtualized and containerized workloads on a hyperconverged infrastructure. It will help in building the combined benefits of Red Hat’s open hybrid cloud technologies and Nutanix’s hyperconverged services.
  • Red Hat certified hypervisor Nutanix AHV will extend full support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux and OpenShift on Nutanix Cloud Platform. The certification of the Nutanix built-in hypervisor, AHV, for Red Hat Enterprise Linux and OpenShift offers enterprise customers a simplified full stack solution for their containerized and virtualized cloud-native applications. This certification will provide Red Hat customers further choice in hypervisor deployments, especially as many organizations look for innovative, modern virtualization technologies.
  • Collaborated engineering roadmap offers robust interoperability. Red Hat and Nutanix will aim at delivering continuous testing of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Red Hat OpenShift with Nutanix AHV to offer strong interoperability. The organizations will also team up to deliver more appropriate support by aligning product roadmaps.
