Where Is Cloud Computing Going?

January 1, 1900

At the Cloud World Forum in London, we spent a lot of time speaking with people involved in cloud computing at all levels from global directors of cloud solutions from some of the largest providers of cloud computing through to people involved in sales at a local level. We asked them all, what does cloud computing already do or what will cloud technology do in the near future that would excite people. The answers were varied and included everything from the use of virtualised desktops through to the use of SaaS applications. One thing is clear…Cloud computing has so many facets that you could ask the same question 100 times and everyone would have a different opinion about what’s exciting in cloud computing.
