Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and the GDPR

The European Union (EU) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a new, comprehensive data protection law that goes into effect on May 25, 2018. It applies broadly to organizations based in the EU and elsewhere that collect and process the personal information of individuals residing in the EU. This paper explains how the features and functionality of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure can help customers meet some of their GDPR requirements. This paper does not provide an exhaustive discussion of the GDPR requirements, nor does it give compliance advice. Customers are advised to seek their own legal counsel to develop and implement their GDPR compliance program.
